Whether ranting about impatience in contemporary society, his ballooning physique, or the trials of fatherhood, C.K. has a curious talent for keeping an audience in stitches even – or especially – as they’re recoiling in abject horror. He may be twisted, but there’s truly no denying he’s one of the most transgressive, talented comics to come down the pike since the glory days of Bill Hicks, Eddie Murphy, and Richard Pryor.
